Introduction: This article outlines a new system option in Profitz that streamlines the setup of Subcontractor accounts. This automation ensures that Subcontractors are correctly configured to handle both claims and standard invoices without manual intervention.
What does this feature do?
There is now a system option that links the "Subcontractor" setting to the "Allow Inv" (Allow Invoices) setting. When you flag a Creditor as a Subcontractor, the system will automatically tick the Allow Inv checkbox for you.
How do I use it? This process is automatic when setting up or editing a Creditor.
- Navigate to the Creditor setup screen.
- Tick the box to mark the creditor as a Subcontractor.
- The Allow Inv box will automatically be ticked.
Why was this changed?
Previously, the Allow Inv box had to be ticked manually. If this was missed, the Subcontractor could not process standard Creditor Invoices alongside their Subcontractor Claims (SC Claims). This automation removes the manual step, ensuring the account is immediately ready for both transaction types.
