Charge Up Invoices – Line Details in Separate Tab

Description: This article explains a new display option that moves invoice lines to a dedicated Invoice Details tab. This feature is designed to improve the on-screen review process, specifically for invoices containing many lines. It provides a cleaner, more manageable view of the invoice header without requiring excessive scrolling.

What is the difference?

• Default Layout: By default, invoice lines are displayed directly below the invoice details on a single screen.
• New Tabbed Layout: When enabled, the invoice header information remains on the main Invoice tab, while the line items are moved to a separate Invoice Details tab.

How to use the new layout: There is no change to the core functionality of creating or processing invoices, only where the information is displayed.

Why use the separate tab layout?

This layout is highly recommended for customers who regularly process large invoices. Separating the lines from the header frees up screen space, making it easier to review data without losing context or scrolling repeatedly.

Do I need to learn a new process? No. The buttons and processing options remain the same. The only change is the location of the line items on your screen.
