Description
- After confirming payments, Profitz generates a Remittance Advice PDF for each supplier. This is a crucial step after making invoice payments, as it provides your suppliers with a clear, detailed breakdown of which invoices have been paid and how.
Steps
1. Open the Remittance App
- Automatically opens after payment
- Or go to Creditors > Payment Processing > Remittances
Account Code: Select a Supplier Account. This option also allows you to preview or email the remittance document for the selected account.
Remittance Date: The date that will appear on the remittance document.
Batch Number: A system-generated ID for this remittance batch.
Back: Returns to the previous screen.
View: Previews the remittance document. You can download or print a PDF file of the remittance document from here.
Update: By updating the app, you confirm that you have viewed any pending remittance documents and they are accurate. Click Update, then click Yes to confirm. Updating removes pending remittances from the app, which prevents duplicate emails to Suppliers.
Email All: Emails all updated remittance documents to their corresponding Supplier Accounts.
Create EFT file: Navigates to the Create EFT File app.
2. Review Remittance
- Check supplier details and invoice list
- Confirm totals and payment references
3. Send Remittance
- Click Email
- The remittance PDF is attached automatically
- Confirm or edit the recipient email
- Click Send
