Read Only Job Enquiry from Claim Entry FAQs

Introduction: This article explains the optional feature that allows users to access Job Enquiry details directly from within the Application and Claim Entry screens. This streamlines the workflow for both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Subcontractor (SC) claims.

What does this feature do?

This feature enables a direct link to the Job Enquiry screen while you are processing claims. It applies to both AR Application/Claim Entry and SC Application/Claim Entry. The enquiry view is "Read Only," allowing you to view job details without the risk of accidental edits during claim processing.

How do I access the Job Enquiry from a claim?

Once the setting is enabled, you can access the enquiry directly from the claim screen.

1. Open an AR or SC Claim Entry window.
2. Click the Job Enquiry button (or select the relevant menu option).
3. The Job Enquiry window will open in a read-only mode.

 How do I enable this feature?

This functionality is an optional system setting and is not enabled by default. To activate this feature for your system, please contact Profitz Support.
