Step‑by‑step instructions
1. Start the Copy Process
- Navigate to Jobs › Charge‑up Invoices.
- Select the invoice you want to duplicate.
- Click Copy Charge‑up Invoice.
Note: Invoices do not need to be posted before they can be copied. You can copy an invoice at any point.
2. Set Debtor and Job Details
- When prompted, enter the following:
- Debtor Account: Select the debtor account for the new invoice.
- Important: This field is compulsory.
- Job Number: Optionally select a job number.
- Defaults to the job number from the original invoice.
- Debtor Account: Select the debtor account for the new invoice.
3. Confirm and Edit the Copied Invoice
- Click OK to generate the new invoice.
- Review the copied invoice details.
- Make any necessary edits before posting.
Note: Any lines imported from job costs will not be copied. If required, reload job costs into the new invoice.
