Description
This article explains how to create a client order in Profitz, including both Simple and Scheduled structures. It also covers how to convert a Simple Order to a Scheduled Order and how to add schedule lines and variations.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Create a Simple Order
Menu Path: Jobs > Job Setup > Simple Orders

| Order No | Unique identifier for the order |
| Description | Summary of the work |
| Value | Total contract value |
| Tax Code | GST code for the order |
Click Add, then Save. đŸ“¸
Simple Orders do not support variations or operation codes.
2. Convert a Simple Order to a Scheduled Order
- Select the Simple Order
- Click Schedule
- Confirm conversion
The value is not copied. Re-enter manually. A blue link appears on the original Simple Order to access the Scheduled Order or its variations. đŸ“¸ [Insert screenshot: Schedule conversion confirmation prompt]
3. Create a Schedule-Based Order
Menu Path: Jobs > Job Setup > Client Orders

| Customer Code | Select the client |
| Operation Code | Optional for AR |
| Description | Summary of the work |
| Value | Line item value |
| Tax Code | GST code |
| Retention Applies | Tick if retention is applicable |
Click Add Line, then Submit.
4. Add Schedule Lines

| Ref No | Unique reference for the line item |
| VO No | Optional: marks the line as a variation |
| Description | Work description |
| Value | Total value of the line |
Click Add, then press Enter to confirm.
