How to Close Simple and Schedule Orders

Step‑by‑step instructions

1. Understand How Order Closure Works

• All order closures are performed on the Simple Order, even if the order has been converted into a Schedule Order.
• When a Schedule Order is created directly (not converted from a Simple Order), Profitz automatically creates a Simple Order behind the scenes.
  • Depending on customer configuration, these Simple Orders may or may not appear in Job Setup.
  • However, Simple Orders created behind the scenes are always available from the menu.
• No additional setup or configuration is required to close orders.

2. Open the Simple Order

1. Navigate to Jobs › Simple Orders.
2. Locate the Simple Order linked to the order you want to close.
3. Click the order to highlight it, then click Edit.

3. Close the Order

1. In the Basic Details tab, locate the Suspended checkbox.
2. Tick the Suspended checkbox to close the order.
   • This prevents the order from appearing in selection lists when entering Applications and Claims.
3. Click Save to confirm the change.
