Description: Closing orders in Profitz helps keep your order selection lists clean and relevant when entering Applications and Claims. Whether the order is a Simple Order or a Schedule Order, the closure process is always performed on the underlying Simple Order.
Step‑by‑step instructions
1. Understand How Order Closure Works
- All order closures are performed on the Simple Order, even if the order has been converted into a Schedule Order.
- When a Schedule Order is created directly (not converted from a Simple Order), Profitz automatically creates a Simple Order behind the scenes.
- Depending on customer configuration, these Simple Orders may or may not appear in Job Setup.
- However, Simple Orders created behind the scenes are always available from the menu.
- No additional setup or configuration is required to close orders.
2. Open the Simple Order
- Navigate to Jobs › Simple Orders.
- Locate the Simple Order linked to the order you want to close.
- Click the order to highlight it, then click Edit.
3. Close the Order
- In the Basic Details tab, locate the Suspended checkbox.
- Tick the Suspended checkbox to close the order.
- This prevents the order from appearing in selection lists when entering Applications and Claims.
- Click Save to confirm the change.
